There probably isn’t a puppet maker or performer in the business that hasn’t heard those immortal words: “Why don’t you grow up?”

those who has been on the receiving end of that question

and replied, “Why should I?”

 

Puppets are a universal form of entertainment, whether

being used for children’s television, advertisements,

theatre productions, ventriloquist acts or even just for

private amusement. Their endearing qualities bring

something to the world that the humans behind them

cannot bring on their own.

 

For me, the key to puppet design is imagination and we

have a host of exciting and creative characters to come as well as a showcase of replicas of some of the most famous puppets to have graced screens.

 

Old Enough To Know Better Puppets was created to bring professional puppets to the masses, both for companies, production teams and private individuals. I have a standard puppet cost list that you can use, along with the order page, to put together your own puppet and come out with an all in cost. In addition to this, i take commissions for custom builds, for which the only limit is your imagination. You will also see some of my puppets on eBay from time to time, which is a great opportunity to purchase a unique puppet at a great price. And all of these are at very competitive prices. 

 

Our puppets are made from the best quality material to ensure a durable, professional performance tool. These puppets are not toys but are made for adults or older children who are interested in professional puppetry.

With structures of reticulated foam, mouth-plates made of gasket rubber, wood or foam depending on the puppet design, and any number of combinations of “skins” that can include furs, Antron fleece and ostrich feathers - the possibilities are endless. 

 

Our puppets are completely hand-made, ensuring that each one is an individual – even if they are based on the same principal design. We guarantee you a stunning puppet for overhead professional puppetry as seen on The Muppet Show and various TV shows

and commercials, or alternatively with a back arm entrance to be used as a ventriloquist style puppet that can sit on your knee or alongside you. If you like the design but don’t want to use it as a puppet, you can even ask for your design to be created as a fully wired “poser” puppet to be stood on display as a sure-fire talking point in your home or office.
