Custom Puppet Ordering Guidelines.
Here are some guidelines on what information will be required for any custom puppet orders.
Puppet description.
This is your puppet, so the first thing you need to know is what you want your puppet to look like.
The more information you can give, the better your puppet will turn out.
This can be everything from size to head shape, colour, facial features, accessories. Anything and everything you can tell me about what you want your puppet to be and we can get working on it.
Timescale.
Let me know when you need your puppet to be made by.
Custom orders can come in at any time, so we will agree a timescale when you order, but if you have a very tight timescale then please let me know when sending your request so i can let you know if turnaround is possible.
Depending on the complexity of a puppet, the build time can be anything from two weeks to two months, and this can also rely on no other orders being in my queue. So please remember to include when you want the puppet by so i can avoid any disappointment.
Purpose.
What do you want to use the puppet for?
Obviously this will not affect the quality of the puppet, but it can make a difference to the design.
If the puppet is to be used for ventriloquism, the hand entry point will differ to a puppet used for over the head puppetry.
Also, what you want the puppet to be able to do? Must it be able to flex its mouth or does it need a sturdy durable mouthplate?
